I’m challenging myself to paint in a series. I’ve chosen a theme. I am calling it MARRIAGE.
The theme is about people or things that go together. Like yin-yang, twins, symbiotic relationships, and looking at opposites that are coupled. Like, male-female, contrasting colors, tattoos and needles and other ideas I’ve not thought of yet.
Here is my first ‘practice’ painting. I’m 2 hours into it’s creation. My reference material comes from a photograph taken at the San Diego Salk Institute and an image from iStockPhoto of a hawk.
More to come as I evolve and speak from my subconscious.
